Goldstone is a golden coloured glass with copper inclusions which imitates sunstone – it is manmade and not natural, despite what you may read on the internet...

Blue goldstone is blue glass with copper inclusions – I imagine it could be used to imitate iolite with hematite inclusions (sometimes marketed as iolite sunstone)… Its deep blue colour with that bit of sparkle is very striking and definitely a draw for those who like a bit of sparkle though!
